Details of the Job/Internship

Prophaze is hiring a Legal Specialist with 2-4 years of experience to join their office remotely.

Role and Responsibilities

• Legal Advisory: Provide strategic and operational legal advice to internal stakeholders on corporate law, regulatory compliance, governance, and business transactions.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and MoUs, ensuring legal and commercial soundness.
• Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the business. Advise departments on compliance obligations and assist in implementing risk mitigation frameworks.
• Policy Development: Assist in formulating and updating internal legal and compliance-related policies to align with evolving regulatory standards.
• Due Diligence: Conduct legal due diligence for business transactions, partnerships, or investments, identifying legal implications and risks.
• External Liaison: Coordinate with regulatory authorities, government agencies, and external legal counsel on various legal matters.
• Document Control: Maintain and manage legal documentation in an organized, secure, and accessible manner for audit and compliance purposes.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• 2–4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate law within an in-house legal team or a reputed law firm.
• Prior exposure to contract lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, or litigation support is desirable.
