Details of the Job/Internship
RupeeQ is looking for a candiadte for the position of Legal Specialist with 2 to 5 years of experience to join them at their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and fintech guidelines.
- Support regulatory filings, licenses, and statutory requirements.
- Advise internal teams on legal risks, compliance issues, and best practices.
- Handle legal notices, disputes, litigation support, and coordination with external counsels.
- Review product policies, customer terms, and privacy documents.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations impacting fintech and lending operations.
- Maintain legal documentation, records, and compliance trackers.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- 2–5 years of experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory roles.
- Experience in fintech, BFSI, or corporate legal environments is preferred.
- Membership with the Bar Council is an advantage.
