Details of the Job/Internship

Senvion India is hiring a Legal Specialist with 10 years of experience to independently manage all aspects of project, procurement, and vendor contracts.

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently handle all aspects of project, procurement, and vendor contracts.
• Exposure to key functions in the power and infrastructure sector, including contracts management, procurement, project management, understanding of LC/BGs, warranty, and indemnity issues.
• Finalization, review, and negotiation of GCC for various contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, MoUs, LoIs, LoAs, Lender Agreements, Bank/Financial Institution documents, and other commercial agreements.
• Manage pre-award and post-contract legal negotiations and compliances, contractual risk assessments, contract administration, correspondence, claim settlement, handling contractual issues, and preparing claim notices such as extension of time, liquidated damages, termination, change and variations, claims, and contract closure.
• Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues.
• Prepare and advise on pre-litigation and litigation strategies.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for preparation of contract documents, sub-contracting agreements, and Joint Venture/Framework/Consortium Agreements.

Eligibility

• Degree in Law from a reputed institution and at least 10 years of experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Infrastructure / Renewable Energy industry would be an added advantage.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Team management experience.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
