Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Legal Specialist for their Intellectual Property team with experience of 10-15 years to join their offices in Bengaluru or Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will be responsible for handling matters related to intellectual property, including patent drafting, filing and prosecution, managing office action responses and maintenance in India, US, Europe and other jurisdictions.
- They will deal with issues related to copyright, trademarks, domain names, designs and trade secrets.
- The role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating IP and technology-related contracts, research agreements, licensing agreements, technology law matters, software licensing and SaaS agreements.
Eligibility
- The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, science or equivalent along with an LLB or LLM.
- They must have experience in patent drafting, filing, office action response drafting and review, and maintenance across jurisdictions such as India, US, and Europe.
- Experience in dealing with other forms of IPR including but not limited to copyright, trademarks, domain names, designs and trade secrets is required.
- The candidate should also have experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, particularly IP and technology-related contracts. Experience in the IT industry is desired.
