Details of the Job/Internship

Vivo India is hiring a Legal Specialist to join their team in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, vet, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, balancing business requirements with legal risk.
• Manage regulatory compliance across multiple domains, including Internet Business, Competition Law, and Legal Metrology.
• Coordinate with external consultants and counsel to manage ongoing litigation and represent the company’s interests.
• Draft legal notices, replies, and pleadings for various court and quasi-judicial forums.
• Monitor and acquire necessary licenses and approvals from government authorities while handling official inspections.
• Provide strategic legal advice on business activities and prepare detailed advisory notes based on legal research.
• Support the Customer Service portfolio by addressing legal grievances and operational issues.
• Plan and execute legal strategies to protect the company’s operational interests.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
• Strong foundational knowledge of Indian laws related to technology, labor, and commercial disputes.
• Proven experience in drafting high-stakes agreements and managing litigation.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines (e.g., FEMA, Intermediary Guidelines).
• Excellent research and communication skills to influence stakeholders across functions.
