Anand and Anand are hiring a Legal Stenographer to join their office in Noida.
'This position is ideal for a professional who has a strong background in litigation support, legal research, document preparation, and the ability to transcribe legal dictation quickly and accurately. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will assist with case preparation, and legal research, manage documents, and provide dictation services during meetings, hearings, and trials. Your expertise in shorthand and transcription will be key in supporting the legal team and ensuring efficient case management.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide paralegal support in litigation cases, including case preparation, document filing, and court preparation.
- Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
- Use Steno techniques to transcribe court proceedings, meetings, client consultations, and dictation from attorneys.
- Transcribe and prepare legal documents based on verbal dictation quickly and accurately.
- Prepare discovery documents and assist with the discovery process by reviewing, organizing, and managing evidence and case files.
- Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, regulations, and other legal issues to support litigation efforts.
- Assist in preparing for trials, depositions, and hearings, including document organization and summarizing evidence.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly indexed, stored, and easily accessible.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to coordinate meetings and gather necessary information.
- Attend court hearings and trials to provide support and take notes as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
- Draft and proofread legal correspondence, ensuring that documents are clear, concise, and free from errors.
- Prepare and organize trial exhibits, discovery documents, and other case-related materials.
