Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited is hiring a Legal Strategy – Litigation professional with 3–5 years of experience to join their team in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with business objectives and risk management.
• Increase collections using legal tools and recovery mechanisms.
• Oversee the entire litigation lifecycle from pre-litigation to settlement.
• Analyze legal outcomes by region, customer profile, and recovery tools to refine future strategies.
• Coordinate with internal legal teams, external counsel, and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare case documentation.
• Track litigation progress, deadlines, and court compliance.
• Draft, review, and vet legal documents.
• Support negotiation and settlement efforts.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Standardize legal procedures and improve turnaround times for legal filings and recoveries.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a National Law School or other top-tier law institute.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in litigation strategy, ideally in top law firms or consulting firms.
• Strong understanding of legal processes, court procedures, and litigation management.
• Prior experience in the financial sector preferred.
