Details of the Job/Internship

Meltplan is hiring a Legal Support Specialist with experience of at least 2 years to work full time on a monthly contractual basis in a remote setup. The role involves ensuring accuracy and compliance in work related to US Building Codes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining clear documentation, and identifying and escalating inconsistencies or ambiguities in relevant codes.

Role and Responsibilities

• Timely completion of assigned tasks with accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Collaborating with engineers, lawyers, and software developers.
• Preparing and maintaining clear documentation for internal knowledge sharing.
• Identifying and escalating inconsistencies or ambiguities in codes.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized institution and a valid license to practice law.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in due diligence and legal document review, with a preference for experience in US laws or construction law.
• Immediate joining.

Salary/Stipend
