Details of the Job/Internship
WTW is hiring a Senior Legal Advisor with at least 2 years of experience in contract review and negotiation under US and/or English law to join their legal team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and suggest amendments to contracts governed by US and UK law using WTW playbooks and guidelines.
- Provide legal support to internal stakeholders across business lines.
- Support external negotiations to minimize risk and achieve company outcomes.
- Work on the COMET Contract Lifecycle Management System.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and escalation protocols.
- Participate in internal meetings and required trainings.
- Escalate complex legal issues to Team Leads or in-country legal teams.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all contract-related activities.
- Maintain high standards of compliance, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in contract review and negotiation.
- Prior exposure to US/UK contracting frameworks.
- Familiarity with legal policies, compliance, and data privacy laws (GDPR/US privacy laws preferred).
