Details of the Job/Internship

Team Counsel is hiring a Legal Tech Associate with experience of 0–2 years to work remotely, with potential in-person collaboration requirements in Bengaluru as needed.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support the integration of technology into legal processes.
• Assist in legal automation projects.
• Manage legal databases and documentation systems.
• Conduct research on legal tech tools.
• Assist in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) implementation projects.
• Collaborate with legal, growth, and leadership teams to improve operational efficiency.
• Build scalable tech-enabled legal solutions.
• Contribute to knowledge management and system development initiatives across the startup ecosystem.

Eligibility

• Recent graduate or candidate with up to 1–2 years of experience from a law, legal tech, business-law, or technology-related background.
• Strong interest in legal technology, automation, CLM systems, process optimisation, and innovation in legal services.
• Basic understanding of corporate law, contracts, or compliance frameworks will be an advantage.
• Comfort with legal research tools, documentation systems, CRMs, no-code/low-code platforms, or productivity tools.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-driven mindset.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Professionalism, ownership mindset, and willingness to continuously learn new tools and systems.
• Prior experience or exposure to CLM implementation, contract management, legal operations, or workflow automation will be preferred.
• Prior exposure to startups, SaaS tools, or tech-enabled consulting will be an added advantage.
