Volody is hiring a Legal Tech Associate with legal and technology expertise to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves applying data-driven and technology-backed solutions to legal processes, supporting compliance, contract review, and M&A projects, while also researching emerging technologies for legal applications.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal data analysis, contract review, and compliance monitoring using technology tools.
- Build and maintain clause libraries; evaluate and refine AI/LLM outputs for legal use cases.
- Research emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and web scraping for legal practice.
- Support mergers & acquisitions, cybersecurity, and compliance projects with data-driven insights.
- Draft, structure, and analyse contracts, legal documents, and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative legal-tech products and workflows.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) with additional training in Data Science, Technology, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of legal research, contract drafting, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, machine learning, web development, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with NumPy, Microsoft Office, and web scraping technologies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy regulations (preferred).
