Volody is hiring for the position of Legal Tech Associate with 2 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prompt Engineering & Design: Create, refine, and optimize prompts for LLMs to generate accurate, context-aware legal content (contracts, clauses, summaries, etc.).
- AI-Legal Collaboration: Partner with AI/ML engineers and product teams to fine-tune and validate LLM outputs for legal use cases (NDAs, MSAs, employment contracts, and more).
- Quality Assurance: Test and evaluate AI-generated outputs to ensure compliance with legal standards, business needs, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
- Workflow Translation: Map legal processes into structured logic for integration with automation tools and contract workflows.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal legal, compliance, and product teams to continuously improve usability and model performance.
- Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of evolving legal regulations, AI prompt engineering techniques, and legal tech trends.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LLB/LLM/JD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Licensed/qualified to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in legal prompt engineering, ideally with platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar.
- Strong understanding of contract law, corporate legal workflows, and legal risk frameworks.
- Excellent legal drafting, clause review, and writing skills.
- Practical experience with AI/LLM tools such as OpenAI API, LangChain, RAG, Pinecone, etc.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
