Details of the Job/Internship
Unilever is hiring a Legal Trademark Associate with 3–4 years of experience to join its Bangalore office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct and analyse trademark screening and clearance searches.
- Prepare and manage filings, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement actions.
- Draft instructions for law firms, manage documentation, and prepare cost estimates.
- Collate evidence for trademark prosecution and disputes.
- Support IP recordals, M&A integrations, and portfolio management.
- Maintain trademark databases, playbooks, and precedent banks.
- Partner with global legal teams for reporting, certifications, and authorisations.
Eligibility
- LLB degree from an accredited law school with Bar admission in India.
- 3–4 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal team (preferably FMCG).
- Strong understanding of trademark, copyright, and design laws.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and computer skills.
- Ability to manage tasks across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
