Details of the Job/Internship

Ministry of Corporate Affairs is offering a full-time on-site Legal Trainee (Pro bono) position in Chennai. The minimum duration is 3 months for undergraduates and up to 6 months for law graduates. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist with legal consulting and communication on corporate legal issues.
• Support legal document preparation and compliance reviews.
• Conduct legal research and drafting as required by the Ministry.
• Provide administrative support on ongoing legal matters.
• Work under the guidance of legal officers and contribute to statutory work.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law or currently pursuing a law degree.
• Demonstrated interest or coursework in legal or corporate governance.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a legal/government environment.
• Prior internship or legal exposure preferred but not mandatory.
