Details of the Job/Internship

Schbang is hiring for the position of Legal Trainee to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing & vetting contracts (vendor, talent, influencer, NDAs, service agreements).
• Assisting with IP-related filings and copyright checks.
• Supporting the compliance team on legal audits, policies & risk management.
• Liaising with external counsels for litigation and advisory work.
• Maintaining legal documentation and contract repository.
• Reviewing creative content to ensure legal safety (defamation, copyright, advertising laws).
• Helping teams understand contract clauses, liabilities & indemnities.
• Supporting in policy drafting (POSH, data privacy, employment agreements).
• Ensuring adherence to media laws, digital marketing regulations, and IT Act guidelines.
• Coordinating with internal teams for quick contract closures and redlines.

Salary/Stipend
