Details of the Job/Internship
The Legal Savvy is offering a 3-month in-office traineeship for final-year law students as Legal Trainees. The role provides hands-on experience in financial law and dispute resolution, mentorship from industry experts, and the possibility of a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) based on performance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on loan settlements, RBI guidelines, and consumer protection laws.
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including settlement agreements, notices, and client correspondence.
- Support negotiation and dispute resolution processes with financial institutions and clients.
- Prepare case summaries and maintain legal documentation.
- Stay updated on legal developments related to debt recovery and financial laws.
- Interact with clients to understand their requirements and provide legal assistance under supervision.
- Contribute to business development by identifying and onboarding new clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings.
Eligibility
- Final-year students pursuing BBA LL.B. (5-year) or LL.B. (3-year), graduating in 2025.
- Basic understanding of contract law, banking regulations, and financial dispute resolution.
- Good research and drafting skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
- Fluency in Telugu (spoken and written) and English.
- Residents of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana who can work from the office.
- Willingness to commit to a minimum 3-month traineeship.
