Details of the Job/Internship
LEXUP is hiring a Legal Transcriptionist for a part-time and remote role. The position involves transcribing audio recordings into text format, preparing accurate legal documents, and supporting court reporting requirements. The role also includes reviewing and editing documents to ensure compliance with legal standards and confidentiality protocols.
Role and Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings into text format.
- Prepare accurate legal documents.
- Support court reporting requirements.
- Review and edit documents for legal compliance and confidentiality.
- Perform tasks related to legal transcription and documentation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws.
- Experience in transcribing notes of proceedings.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and document formats.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work within deadlines.
- Proficiency with transcription software and word processing tools.
- Relevant experience in legal or administrative support roles is advantageous.
- Certificate or coursework in legal studies, transcription, or a related field is a plus.
