Eternis Consulting is hiring a Legal Translator  to join their office in Meerut.

Role and Responsibilities

• Accurately translate complex legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and official deeds.
• Ensure precise language usage while maintaining the technical integrity of legal terminology.
• Perform thorough proofreading of translated documents to eliminate linguistic or legal errors.
• Conduct specialized terminology research to stay updated with evolving legal standards.
• Collaborate with in-house legal and language teams to ensure translated content is legally compliant.
• Manage multiple translation tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict project deadlines.
• Maintain consistency in style and tone across various types of official legal materials.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB), Linguistics, or a related professional field.
• Proven experience in Law and the preparation of formal legal documentation.
• High proficiency in general Translation with a specialized focus on Legal Translation.
• Strong foundational understanding of Legal Terminology in both source and target languages.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; candidates who are bilingual or multilingual are preferred.
• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy.
• Professional certification in translation or legal studies is considered an added advantage.
