Lekhak.app is hiring a part-time Legal Translator to work remotely. The role involves translating legal documents and content between English, Hindi, Urdu, and other languages.
Role and Responsibilities
- Translate legal documents, texts, and digital content between English, Hindi, Urdu, and other languages.
- Ensure accuracy while maintaining cultural and contextual relevance.
- Proofread and edit translations to ensure grammatical correctness and language quality.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Assist in refining translation processes and tools used by the company.
Eligibility
- Proficiency in Urdu, Hindi, and English, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Familiarity with digital translation tools or language-processing technologies.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in linguistics, translation studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in translation or working with multilingual platforms is advantageous.
