Details of the Job/Internship
Lekhak.app is hiring a Legal Typist to support drafting, formatting, reviewing, transcription, and translation of legal documents. This role involves assisting with clerical and document management tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, and coordinating with legal professionals and clients for language and documentation requirements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, format, and review legal documents.
- Transcribe audio recordings accurately.
- Translate legal documents as required.
- Manage clerical tasks including file organisation and document management.
- Communicate with legal professionals and clients to meet language and document-related requirements.
Eligibility
- Proficient typing and audio typing skills.
- Clerical skills including file organisation, document management, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and maintain clarity in translations.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in standard office software and applications.
- Fluency in English and at least one additional relevant language.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation is preferred.
- Ability to work in an on-site professional environment.
- Basic understanding of confidentiality and data protection regulations.
