Details of the Job/Internship
Saint-Gobain India Pvt. Ltd. – Glass Business is hiring a Legal Manager with 8–10 years of experience to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Prepare legal notices and replies.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal teams.
- Support brand protection initiatives.
- Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Liaise with external lawyers and manage relationships.
- Oversee litigation and related matters.
- Stay updated on legal developments affecting the business.
Eligibility
- 5-year LL.B. degree from a recognized institution.
- 8–10 years of legal experience, including some court practice.
- Experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of contract law, consumer law, recovery, regulatory compliance, and IPR.
- Proactive and capable of working independently and in teams.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong legal research and multitasking abilities.
