Details of the Job/Internship
Hobberman & Company is hiring a Legal Writer – U.S. Immigration with experience of 2–6 years to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and structure documents for U.S. immigration petitions (EB-1A, O-1, EB-2 NIW).
- Prepare and draft RFE responses addressing USCIS concerns.
- Analyse client profiles, including academic, research, and professional achievements.
- Translate complex technical information into clear legal narratives.
- Conduct targeted research to support claims and evidentiary strength.
- Ensure drafts align with firm standards and USCIS expectations.
- Collaborate with attorneys and case managers to finalise documentation.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
- Manage multiple cases in a deadline-driven environment.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree required; Law background preferred.
- 2–6 years of experience in immigration/legal writing.
- Experience with U.S. immigration petitions (EB-1A, O-1, EB-2 NIW).
- Experience drafting or supporting RFE responses.
- Familiarity with USCIS standards and petition structuring.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and comprehension abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Google Docs, and research tools.
- Experience in law firm or professional services environment (preferred).
- Ability to work independently with strong ownership and accountability.
