Details of the Job/Internship

Legal Chai is hiring a Legal Writing and Research Intern for a two-week, unpaid, remote internship. The role involves researching and writing original legal articles for publication under the author’s own name. Interns will contribute to articles and discussions on legal issues, policy, careers, and the legal profession, while working closely with the founder on editorial direction and quality.

Role and Responsibilities

• Research and write original legal articles for publication.
• Explore legal issues, policy questions, education, careers, and legal practice.
• Present complex legal ideas clearly and responsibly.
• Engage with feedback from readers and editors.
• Collaborate with the founder on editorial direction and quality.

Eligibility

• Law students or recent graduates.
• Genuine interest in legal writing and research.
• Strong legal reasoning and writing skills.
• Comfort with citations, sources, and structured arguments.
• Ability to commit to regular article deadlines.
• Openness to feedback and editorial refinement.
