Details of the Job/Internship
Agrocorp is hiring a Legal/Senior Legal Manager with a minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate law to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
Transactional Management:
- Scrutinize and work on various agreements.
- Verify and close documents including Power of Attorney, MOU, Sale Agreements, Sale Deeds, Release Deeds, Booking Forms, Registry, KYC, NOC, and title clearance.
- File land documents and maintain records.
- Prepare investment memorandums, conduct commercial negotiations, legal documentation, feasibility studies, concept planning, and transaction closure.
Data Management:
- Handle pre-sale and post-sale documentation for bookings.
- Pre-sales: Manage booking forms, align clients, issue welcome kits and allotment letters, complete sales agreements, and issue demand letters.
- Post-sales: Issue No Dues, possession letters, registration confirmations, and coordinate sale deed and possession processes.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with operations, CRM, and accounts teams.
- Authorize bookings and ensure paper compliance.
- Address internal and external client queries.
- Reconcile project and dues statuses with the accounts team.
- Assist in obtaining necessary NOCs and approvals.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Provide support in crisis situations.
- Advise on legal matters at the business unit level.
Team Management:
- Lead and inspire a team of at least two employees.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Set KRAs, assess performance, and promote continuous learning.
- Ensure accountability and discipline within the team.
Innovation and Automation:
- Implement automated systems for land onboarding.
- Optimize processes to reduce transaction times.
- Introduce innovative solutions for legal efficiency.
- Develop a knowledge repository for information sharing.
Eligibility
- Education: LL.B./LL.M. from a reputed university.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years in real estate law or a similar job profile.
- Language Proficiency: English, Hindi, Kannada (Speak, Read, Write) mandatory; Telugu preferred.
Skillsets:
- Strong experience in real estate law, including property transfer, litigation, lease transactions, property management, and purchase/sale transactions.
- Title scrutiny and legal due diligence.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Proficient in Kannada (must).
- Analytical and detail-oriented.
- Leadership abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Salary/Stipend
