Details of the Job/Internship

Varahe Analytics is hiring for the position of Legislative Research with 3-7 years of experience to join their office in Noida. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on public policy issues, legislative proposals, and government schemes, evaluating their long-term sectoral and demographic impact.
• Track and analyze emerging policy and legislative trends to anticipate socio-economic and political shifts.
• Develop evidence-based policy recommendations and strategic insights for campaigns, legislative bodies, and government agencies.
• Lead original research projects and prepare white papers, policy briefs, and detailed reports.
• Apply both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Engage with experts, academics, industry leaders, and policymakers to validate findings.
• Deliver concise, high-quality presentations and briefings for leadership and political clients.
• Monitor policy implementation and assess outcomes for reform potential.
• Collaborate with Narrative Coordination, Outreach, and Campaign Strategy teams to integrate policy insights into broader strategies.

Eligibility

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Law, Social Sciences, or related field from a reputable institution.
• 3–7 years of experience in policy research, legislative analysis, think tanks, academia, or governmental policy departments.
• Strong skills in qualitative and quantitative research, including advanced statistical analysis.
• Deep understanding of the Indian legislative framework, governance processes, and key policy domains (economy, social welfare, environment, technology).
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and foresight capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven record of impactful policy writing.
• Ability to independently manage complex projects and multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in research databases and MS Office Suite.
