Details of the Job/Internship

Noah Infrastructure is hiring for the position of Liaison Officer with 3-7 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with local authorities, government departments, and statutory bodies to obtain permits, licenses, and approvals (building plans, fire NOC, water and electricity connections, environmental clearances, etc.).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal officials, utility service providers, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and submit required applications, documents, and drawings to secure approvals.
• Follow up on pending applications, address queries from authorities, and expedite clearances.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant construction laws, building codes, and environmental norms.
• Assist the project team in meeting legal and statutory obligations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all liaison activities.
• Provide regular updates to management on approval statuses, timelines, and regulatory changes.
• Support in resolving land acquisition, property title, and right-of-way issues as needed.
• Represent the company in meetings with government officials, consultants, and external stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Law, or Administration (preferred).
• 3–7 years of experience in liaison roles for construction or infrastructure projects.
• Established network with local authorities and statutory bodies.
• Sound knowledge of building codes, environmental regulations, and legal procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong documentation skills.

Salary/Stipend
