Victory Minerals Private Limitedis hiring for the position of Liaisoning Manager with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in Katni, Madhya Pradesh.
Role and Responsibilities
Legal Advisory & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including mining, environmental, and labour laws.
- Provide legal opinions and guidance to management on regulatory risks, disputes, and contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, lease agreements, and MOUs.
- Manage litigation and arbitration cases related to mining operations.
- Ensure compliance with Mining Leases (ML), Prospecting Licenses (PL), and other statutory permits.
- Monitor changes in legislation affecting mining operations and keep management informed.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel for complex litigation and advisory services.
liaisoning with Authorities:
- Build and maintain relationships with government bodies such as the Ministry of Mines, Pollution Control Board, Forest Department, and local authorities DGMS, IBM etc
- Manage documentation and approvals required for various licenses, including environmental clearance, forest clearance, and land acquisition etc
- Coordinate with the Mines Safety Directorate for inspections and compliance audits.
- Facilitate permissions related to blasting, transportation, and site operations from relevant authorities.
- Resolve regulatory challenges by engaging with district and state-level authorities.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain records of all legal agreements, licenses, permits, and compliance documents.
- Prepare reports on legal matters, pending approvals, and government interactions for management review.
- Assist in audit processes and regulatory inspections.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure statutory compliance.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Any Graduate
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in legal advisory and lesioning, preferably in the mining, construction, or natural resources sector.
- Preferred: Exposure to labour law matters, Mining Related, safety regulations, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
