Details of the Job/Internship
VeraSafe is seeking an experienced Life Sciences Attorney to join its global data protection and privacy practice.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise on privacy issues related to clinical trials.
- Conduct data protection impact assessments.
- Draft and negotiate data protection agreements, CTAs, ICFs, and privacy addenda.
- Research and write on clinical trials and GCP privacy law topics.
- Develop internal templates and methodologies.
- Collaborate across global teams in a supportive environment.
Eligibility
- Law degree and valid license to practice law
- 3+ years of attorney experience
- Strong interest in privacy, technology, or life sciences
- Strong legal drafting and communication skills
- Willingness to pursue privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E)
- Experience in contract drafting and negotiation
- Prior exposure to privacy law or clinical trial law
- IAPP certifications (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, etc.)
- Involvement in privacy/data security networks
