Details of the Job/Internship
Bush & Bush Law Group is hiring a Litigation Assistant to support its legal team in managing personal injury and employment law cases.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain case files to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Support discovery processes by gathering evidence, summarizing information, and organizing responses.
- Maintain and monitor case calendars, tracking deadlines, hearings, and appointments.
- Communicate with clients, provide case updates, and address inquiries.
- Assist in trial preparation, including exhibits and trial binders.
- Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in a U.S. legal environment is required.
- Experience in personal injury law is preferred, and employment law experience is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal research tools.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
