Chamber of Advocate Aditya Tiwary is hiring a Litigation Assistant to support advocates practising before the Patna High Court. The role is remote and involves providing professional legal assistance through research, drafting, and case preparation. All work will be assigned and submitted online within prescribed timelines, and the role does not involve court appearances.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research on statutes, case laws, and legal principles relevant to matters before the Patna High Court.
- Drafting and assisting in the preparation of writ petitions, counter affidavits, rejoinders, appeals, applications, and legal notes.
- Preparing case summaries, briefs, and chronologies.
- Proofreading and formatting legal drafts.
- Submitting assigned work online within stipulated timelines.
- Maintaining confidentiality of all case-related information.
Eligibility
- Law graduate (LLB) from a recognised university.
- Final-year law students with strong research and drafting skills may apply.
- Basic understanding of High Court practice and procedure.
- Familiarity with Indian statutes and case law research.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines.
