Details of the Job/Internship

Arête Juris LLP is hiring a Litigation Associate with 1–2 years of experience to join its disputes practice in Mumbai. The role involves active litigation work before DRT, DRAT, NCLT, and NCLAT, with exposure to banking, insolvency, and commercial dispute matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle SARFAESI and RDB Act matters before DRT and DRAT.
• Work on IBC matters under Sections 7, 9, and 10 before NCLT and NCLAT.
• Draft SAs, IAs, replies, rejoinders, and written submissions.
• Appear before courts and tribunals under supervision.
• Manage filings, defect curing, and case management.
• Coordinate with clients and counsel on litigation matters.

Eligibility

• LLB completed or in final year.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in DRT / NCLT matters.
• Strong drafting skills and procedural knowledge of SARFAESI and IBC.
• Familiarity with e-filing systems is preferred.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
