Founded in 2011, the team specializes in understanding the intricacies of clients' businesses with service offerings that include setting up of businesses, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, M&A and private equity documents, corporate advisory, statutory and regulatory compliance, trial and appellate litigation, international and domestic arbitration, disputes prevention (including dispute avoidance), and dispute management.
Details of the Job/Internship
GDroit Advocates is hiring a Litigation Associate to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handling real estate litigation, commercial and corporate litigation, and employment disputes across various sectors.
- Representing clients before the High Court of Karnataka, Commercial Courts in Bengaluru, and the Civil Court in Bengaluru City.
- Managing litigation matters filed outside Bengaluru City jurisdiction, including in Kolar, Anekal, and Devanahalli.
Eligibility
- Willingness to travel to courts in Kolar, Anekal, and Devanahalli.
- Proficiency in Kannada is mandatory.
- Retainer pay will be commensurate with the associate’s abilities.
- The role entails a three-month probation period.
- Candidates’ drafting aptitude will be assessed prior to recruitment.
