Details of the Job/Internship
IndiaLaw LLP is hiring a Litigation Associate with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. The role offers the opportunity to handle litigation matters, manage client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the practice.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle litigation matters across commercial, insolvency, consumer, and matrimonial domains before various courts and tribunals.
- Provide strategic legal counsel and develop case strategies.
- Draft and review pleadings, petitions, written submissions, and other legal documents.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships through effective communication.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members.
- Stay updated on legal developments and regulatory changes.
- Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations, and liaise with external counsels when required.
Eligibility
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
- Expertise in IBC, commercial contracts, consumer protection laws, and matrimonial disputes.
- Strong legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Kannada is a must).
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently and work under tight deadlines.
- Experience in team leadership or mentoring is desirable.
