Details of the Job/Internship
IndiaLaw LLP is hiring a Litigation Associate with 1 year of post-qualification experience to join their office in Chennai. The role involves handling litigation tasks, conducting legal research, drafting motions, attending depositions, and representing clients in court.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft motions.
- Attend depositions and represent clients in court.
- Manage court documentation and procedures.
- Participate in client consultations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- 1 year of post-qualification experience.
- Membership in the Bar Council of India.
- Strong research, drafting, and advocacy skills.
- Experience in handling motions, depositions, and court proceedings.
- Proficiency in managing court documentation and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
