Details of the Job/Internship
Kayser & Company is hiring a Litigation Associate with 2 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves handling intellectual property litigation and prosecution, including drafting, filing, and managing IP applications and proceedings before various authorities.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, file, and prosecute trademark, copyright, and design applications before relevant authorities.
- Prepare responses to examination reports, oppositions, rectifications, and appeals.
- Conduct IP searches, provide opinions, and perform due diligence exercises.
- Maintain and update docketing records, deadlines, and prosecution status reports.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree (mandatory).
- LL.M. with specialization in Intellectual Property (preferred).
- Strong command over trademark and copyright laws.
- Knowledge of patent and design laws.
- Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters under strict deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in IP databases and online filing systems.
