Law Global Advocates is looking for a candidate for the position of Litigation Associate.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent parties/clients in High Court, Bombay, and other lower courts.
- Act as an advocate on behalf of the Counsel in relevant courts, tribunals, and inquiries, and instruct Counsel where necessary.
- Prepare and present briefing papers and reports for the Senior Litigation Lawyer.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and undertaking litigation work efficiently.
- Conduct caseload efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Maintain efficient time recording and case management using IT systems.
- Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills.
- Market the firm to build on the existing caseload.
- Support Seniors, Legal Executives, and other members of the legal team in handling cases and inquiries from internal business stakeholders.
- Undertake legal work to the highest professional and client care standards.
Eligibility
- Qualified litigation lawyer with at least 2 years plus experience in litigation.
- Solid experience in arguing matters independently.
- Regulatory criminal law experience and some civil litigation experience preferred but not mandatory.
Salary/Stipend
