Details of the Job/Internship

Livspace is hiring a legal professional to manage litigation, disputes, and regulatory matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee legal disputes, litigation, customer and vendor disputes, and police complaints.
• Prepare in-house replies and defenses to legal notices, show cause notices, and regulatory demands.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer escalations.
• Conduct negotiations with customers at the pre-litigation stage.
• Provide regular and clear MIS updates on case status to the Legal Head and CFO.
• Engage with regulatory authorities and agencies to represent the company’s interests.
• Draft and vet MoUs, agreements, powers of attorney, deeds, and rent, lease, and leave and license agreements.
• Ensure risk mitigation and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide legal opinions, conduct legal research, and work with external counsel on complex matters.

Eligibility

• Minimum three years of relevant legal experience with significant litigation exposure.
• Experience in manufacturing and e-commerce setups.
• Prior experience in real estate is an added advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage large volumes of information and documentation while setting priorities proactively.

Salary/Stipend
