Details of the Job/Internship

Sevakh Global is hiring a Litigation Associate with experience of 1+ year to join their office in Ernakulam. This is a full-time on-site role involving drafting legal motions, conducting legal research, supporting court cases, and assisting during depositions. The role requires working closely with clients, legal teams, and courts to resolve legal matters efficiently while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft legal motions and prepare legal documents.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Assist in handling court cases and litigation matters.
• Support depositions, document preparation, and witness examinations.
• Coordinate with clients, legal teams, and courts in legal proceedings.
• Maintain confidentiality while managing legal matters and documentation.

Eligibility

• Strong knowledge of legal principles and processes, including handling motions and court proceedings.
• Proficiency in conducting legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Experience with depositions, document preparation, and witness examinations.
• Familiarity with court procedures, filings, and litigation protocols.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent qualification; LL.M. or specialisation is an advantage.
• Certification with the Bar Council of India to practise law is mandatory.
• Understanding of international legal frameworks is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
