Details of the Job/Internship
S.B. Jain and Associates is hiring a Litigation Associate/Assessment Intern for a full-time, on-site role in Sonipat. The selected candidate will conduct legal research, draft motions, assist with depositions and court submissions, and support senior lawyers during court proceedings.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft motions.
- Assist with depositions and court submissions.
- Support senior lawyers in court proceedings.
- Prepare legal documents and analyze cases.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B./B.A. LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- 0–1 year of experience, or completion of all semesters and eligibility for a full-time assessment internship.
- Proficiency in drafting motions, pleadings, written statements, applications, replies, and other litigation documents.
- Familiarity with deposition procedures, evidence rules, and court practice.
- Experience with District Courts, Tribunals, High Courts, and exposure to the Supreme Court will be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong legal research skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
