Details of the Job/Internship

Khurana and Khurana (K&K) is seeking a strong Bengaluru-based litigation attorney with a minimum of 3 years PQE, having a core focus on arguing all types of civil litigation matters across tribunals and District/High Courts, preferably with experience in core commercial and IP litigation matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• The attorney should be willing to work independently and, apart from engaging on current matters of the firm, focus extensively on helping grow the litigation practice of the firm in the region by undertaking business development, networking, and allied mandates.
• The colleague would be responsible for independently and comprehensively handling allocated litigation mandates of the firm’s practice across High Courts and tribunals such as NCLT, NGT, NCDRC, RERA, NBA, among others, including making core arguments before different benches concerned, along with reviewing drafts prepared by Associates/Sr. Associates.
• The colleague should be comfortable working from the Bangalore office of K&K (in Sadashivnagar) with a core focus on growing the litigation practice.

Eligibility

• Should have thorough practical knowledge of CPC and procedural issues of various forums and tribunals.
• Should have strong verbal and written communication skills, and should be willing to work independently as well as in a team.
• Should not have any ego or hangover of a previous job or position. Should be willing and open to participating in business development mandates.
