Areness is hiring Litigation Clerk to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Skilled in law research and presenting reports.
- Remarkable attention-to-detail and organizational skills.
- Able to tackle variety of challenging work all alone.
- Excellent knack in following oral and written instructions.
- Complete knowledge of administrative and clerical processes involved in litigation.
- Familiar with latest government regulations and legal codes.
- Outstanding customer service and interpretation skills.
- Filing documents and handling correspondence.
- Answering and responding to clients' questions politely.
- Maintaining certified copies of documents issued by Courts.
- Preparing detail reports with necessary documents before presenting them to the court.
- Retrieving information from the database for assisting the attorney.
- Conducting legal research necessary for the law cases.
- Managing communications through all modes relating to legal matters.
- Open and close the office on time.
- Keep all the documents in organized manner so that they are easy to retrieve.
- Draft reports on law cases.
- Ability to do effective communication with clients and attorneys through telephone, mobile and email.
- Distribute and retrieve legal documents and files as requested.
- Collect and submit the details of expenses incurred in the line of duty to the accounts department.
Eligibility
- Strong knowledge of law and legal procedures, specifically with experience in litigation.
- Experience in legal document preparation and court procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with India's legal system and litigation processes in India is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field is preferred.
