Hoora Technologies is hiring a Litigation & Compliance Officer with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Nagpur.
Role and Responsibilities
- Build and manage an end-to-end pre-litigation grievance resolution mechanism focused on mediation and out-of-court settlements.
- Recruit, train, and lead a team to handle consumer, partner, and vendor grievances across all service verticals.
- Define and implement SOPs for logging, investigating, tracking, and resolving grievances.
- Apply expertise in criminal law to proactively investigate and address high-risk operational issues.
- Advise on preventive legal measures for hiring, background verification, and contractual safeguards.
- Provide regulatory and compliance advisory during the launch of new business verticals and expansions.
- Design scalable grievance systems aligned with hyper-local or marketplace operational models.
- Maintain detailed documentation of grievance trends and recommend policy improvements to leadership.
Eligibility
- LLM and LLB degrees (mandatory).
- Specialized experience in criminal law.
- 7+ years of experience in legal practice, compliance, or grievance management.
- Experience or understanding of hyper-local, logistics, or on-demand service platforms.
- Proven ability to mediate and resolve disputes in pre-litigation stages.
- Strong leadership capability to build and run a new legal function independently.
