Details of the Job/Internship
Jurisiti is hiring a Litigation Advocate with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join its office in New Delhi. The role involves handling litigation matters independently from inception to resolution, regular court appearances, strategic case management, and direct client interaction in a fast-paced courtroom environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective litigation strategies tailored to client needs.
- Draft plaints, suits, complaints, petitions, and other pleadings independently.
- Conduct detailed legal research to support case preparation and arguments.
- Represent clients independently in court proceedings.
- Manage court compliance, filings, deadlines, and hearings.
- Handle client interactions from consultation to ongoing case updates.
- Attend daily court proceedings and manage litigation-related activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a Tier 1 law college.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in core litigation.
- Resident of Delhi, preferably South West Delhi or West Delhi.
- Bar Council registration with active enrolment as an Advocate.
- Strong drafting, legal research, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
