Details of the Job/Internship
SFLC.in is hiring a Litigation Counsel with experience of 2+ years to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed legal research on technology law, human rights law, and intellectual property law.
- Draft petitions, replies, applications, legal notices, and other court documents.
- Provide organisational viewpoints and legal opinions on relevant issues.
- Contribute articles, opinion pieces, and publications for the organisation’s website.
- Monitor developments in privacy, data protection, free speech, and net neutrality.
- Undertake case studies and legal analysis on IT law, data privacy, and IPR.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the legal team.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience.
- Experience in technology law, human rights law, or intellectual property law is preferred.
- Familiarity with court and tribunal procedures.
- Strong academic background and research skills.
- Knowledge of the open-source ecosystem.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Hindi.
