Details of the Job/Internship

Meridial Marketplace is hiring a Litigation Expert (SME) with 5+ years of experience to work as a consultant on AI training data projects. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Define quality metrics and develop SOPs, QA rubrics, and reference materials.
• Review project outputs and flag defects before delivery.
• Conduct structured QA checks on legal annotation projects.
• Provide remediation notes and support defect resolution.
• Advise on legal research tools, workflows, and compliance needs.
• Draft workarounds and acceptance criteria for ambiguous scenarios.
• Curate gold-standard legal reference examples.
• Participate in vetting contractor talent and reviewing sample work.
• Create targeted training material and calibration guidelines.
• Support technical scoping during project setup.
• Provide guidance on edge cases and specification changes.
• Assist in post-project reviews and identify improvement areas.
• Build dashboards to track defect categories and identify patterns.
• Conduct post-mortem analysis and propose process enhancements.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Law with 5+ years of professional experience as a licensed attorney.
• Proven ability to maintain high technical quality standards.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to meet fixed timelines and project scopes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
