Details of the Job/Internship
Resolve360 is hiring a Litigation Head with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience to lead pan-India litigation and arbitration matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and execute litigation strategies before courts, arbitral tribunals, and other forums across India, both online and offline.
- Handle end-to-end arbitration proceedings, including appointment of arbitrators, filings, evidence, arguments, and enforcement or challenge of awards.
- Review pleadings, injunctions, notices, replies, contracts, settlement agreements, and compliance documents for accuracy and risk mitigation.
- Provide strategic legal advice on loan settlements, restructuring proposals, recovery harassment matters, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with external counsel and local advocates across jurisdictions to ensure consistency and timely progress of cases.
- Represent the organisation in high-value negotiations and structure settlement terms to safeguard interests.
- Develop and implement litigation management systems for tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments in banking, insolvency, arbitration, consumer, civil, and criminal laws.
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior lawyers and interns, and establish best practices.
Eligibility
- LL.B. (full-time) from a recognised university.
- Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in active litigation.
- Proven experience in court appearances and arguing matters before courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums.
- Strong expertise in banking and financial services law, loan settlements, recovery actions, consumer and civil disputes, and enforcement of awards or decrees.
- Excellent drafting skills and proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office.
- Ability to independently manage multiple matters across jurisdictions and supervise external counsel.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
- Prior experience managing pan-India litigation and arbitration portfolios is preferred.
- Prior leadership experience in litigation or arbitration is preferred.
- Comfort with digital litigation tools and online case management systems.
Salary/Stipend
