ABC Legal is hiring a Litigation Junior Associate to join its office in Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site role involving drafting legal motions, conducting case law and statutory research, assisting in depositions, appearing in court proceedings, and supporting senior attorneys with case preparation in a fast-paced work environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft legal motions and related pleadings.
- Conduct case law and statutory research.
- Assist in depositions and legal process handling.
- Appear in court proceedings as required.
- Support senior attorneys with case preparation and litigation strategy.
- Manage multiple tasks with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Eligibility
- B.A. LL.B. or an equivalent law degree.
- Enrollment with a Bar Council and licensure to practice law.
- Proficiency in legal principles and procedures, including drafting of motions.
- Experience in legal research and case preparation support.
- Knowledge of depositions and process handling in legal disputes.
- Familiarity with courts and courtroom procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
- Prior experience in litigation is preferred but not mandatory.
