Details of the Job/Internship
Kshitijaa Wadatkar & Associates is hiring a Litigation Lawyer for a full-time, on-site role based at its office in Bombay South, Mumbai. The role involves handling litigation matters independently, conducting detailed legal research, drafting pleadings, briefing senior counsels, and representing clients before courts at various stages of proceedings.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handling litigation matters across civil and criminal jurisdictions.
- Conducting in-depth legal research and case law analysis.
- Drafting pleadings, applications, written submissions, and other legal documents.
- Representing clients before courts at different stages of litigation.
- Briefing senior counsels and legal professionals on case strategy and developments.
- Providing legal advice and assisting in developing effective litigation strategies.
- Applying problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail in case handling.
Eligibility
- LLB or equivalent professional qualification in law.
- Minimum 5–6 years or more of experience in litigation practice, preferably in a law firm.
- Strong legal drafting and legal writing skills.
- Ability to handle matters independently and perform a leadership role.
- Experience in civil and criminal procedural laws and court practices.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
