Details of the Job/Internship
Olive Law is hiring a Litigation Lawyer with experience of 2+ years PQE to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients in various judicial and quasi-judicial forums, focusing on commercial litigation.
- Argue matters independently and assist senior counsel in complex arbitration proceedings.
- Engage with clients early in the dispute lifecycle to provide strategic legal counsel.
- Draft high-quality pleadings, petitions, and legal submissions for court and arbitration.
- Conduct extensive legal research on evolving commercial laws and precedents.
- Manage case strategy from inception through to final resolution or settlement.
- Participate in rigorous chamber discussions to refine legal arguments and trial tactics.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- 2+ years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in active litigation.
- Demonstrated passion for the craft of dispute resolution and courtroom advocacy.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and the ability to argue effectively before a bench.
- High standards of professional integrity and a commitment to rigorous work.
