Details of the Job/Internship
BPTP Limited is hiring a Litigation Manager with 6–10 years of relevant experience in real estate litigation and arbitration to join their team at the Noida office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle all civil, commercial, and criminal litigation cases including RERA, NCLT, consumer, recovery, and property-related matters.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with advocates and solicitors.
- Draft, review, and finalize replies to legal notices, court petitions, and affidavits.
- Manage end-to-end arbitration proceedings – from appointment of arbitrators to enforcement of arbitral awards.
- Prepare arbitration briefs, evidence, witness coordination, and liaise with arbitrators and legal teams.
- Address civil suits related to land title, encroachment, possession, lease disputes, and contract enforcement.
- Support the due diligence process for land/property acquisitions and project developments.
- Provide legal opinions and risk assessments on civil disputes and strategic legal matters.
- Review and vet legal documentation including MoUs, sale deeds, development agreements, and lease deeds with respect to ongoing litigation or arbitration.
- Maintain litigation trackers, MIS reports, and case status updates.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external counsels to ensure timely legal action and documentation.
Eligibility
- Qualification: LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
- Experience: 6–10 years of relevant experience in real estate litigation and arbitration.
- Industry Preference: Real Estate, Infrastructure, Law Firms with real estate focus.
- In-depth knowledge of Civil Law, Arbitration Act, RERA, Contract Act, and Land Revenue laws.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in court appearances and coordination with external legal counsel.
- Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
